July 16-21, 2006 - Caroline will return for her second year at the Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University for their “Piano at Peabody” program. She will perform the opening concert on Sunday, July 16 as well as lecture and teach masterclasses throughout the week long event.
July 9, 2006 - Graves Piano and Organ will host a reception honoring the addition of Caroline to the Steinway Affiliate Artists roster. Her program will begin at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
May 7, 2006 - Caroline will participate in a concert honoring the retirement of OSU horn faculty, Charles Waddell, Weigel Auditorium 2 p.m.
February 27, 2006 - Chamber music concert with OSU string faculty at Weigel Hall 8 p.m. Mozart’s piano quartet in G minor and Ravel piano trio also celebrating the 50th anniversary of Don Harris’ piano sonata.
January 26, 2006, Caroline played a benefit concert at the home of Susan Scherer with Charles Wetherbee celebrating Mozart’s 250th birthday, sponsored by WOSU and friends.
WOSU radio broadcasted Caroline Hong performing J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations BWV 988 on Sunday, January 22, 2006 and on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 7 p.m.
Caroline played Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major with the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra with Peter Stafford Wilson, Music Director, on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Capitol Theatre, Verne Riffe Center.
